The 5-axis optical adjustment mount supports the adjustment of optical components in 5 axes: pitch, yaw, X, Y, and Z. All five axes are equipped with locking mechanisms to ensure the stability of the optical component’s position after adjustment.

Technical Description

(1) The 5-axis optical adjustment mount supports the adjustment of optical components in five axes: pitch, yaw, X, Y, and Z. All five axes are equipped with locking mechanisms to ensure the stability of the optical component’s position after adjustment. The adjustment screws for controlling pitch, yaw, and Z-axis translation can be locked with a 2mm hex wrench, while the X and Y axes are locked with a 0.9mm hex wrench. In addition, the mounting slot frame is provided with vertical and horizontal scale lines to help users reference the alignment of the mounting slot during X and Y axis adjustments.

(2) The translation slot of the adjustment mount is equipped with SM1 (1.035”-40) or SM2 (2.035”-40) internal threads, facilitating the installation of Ø1-inch (thickness ≤10.5mm) or Ø2-inch (thickness ≤11.5mm) optical components. One retaining ring is included for fixing the optical component.

(3) The bottom of the adjustment mount is designed with M4 counterbores at 90° to each other. Users can install different configurations via Ø12mm rods to meet the operational requirements in different experimental systems.
